Coos Canyon Campground & Cabins is looking for working campers, preferably a couple, to join our team. We are a small, family run campground nestled in the beautiful River Valley area of the Lakes and Mountains region in Byron, Maine. Spend time on the beautiful Swift River. Enjoy exclusion and opportunities abound that are nearby such as: fishing, hiking, ATVing, panning for gold, as much sightseeing (birding and moose sighting) that you have time for.
Host couple duties would include:
Store: reservations (ResNexus software), assisting customers with checking in/out, cashiering, customer service, stocking shelves, taking inventory and preparing lists for goods needed, and keeping store, bathrooms & showers clean, laundry and various projects as needed.
Grounds: assisting customers checking in/out of the campground for day-use and overnight camping, computer based registration assisting customers, plus general customer service duties (wood wrapping & delivery, guidance, conversation, etc.) general maintenance duties, including: campsite and property cleanup, trash pickup, restroom/showers/privy cleaning & maintenance, mowing & grounds maintenance, honeywagon service, various projects as needed & assisting with special events: hot dog roasts, BBQs, pancake breakfasts, etc.
Enjoy time off with a schedule of 6 to 10 hours a day per person for 3 or 4 day shifts with an hourly compensation or a site and hourly compensation package. Position is from May to October. Contact: Employment@CoosCanyonCampground.com
